students bring friends

I am proud of our students for bringing so many friends. Good job, Garrett and John who led the way by welcoming students, intro the movie and sharing about our youth ministry. We are in a process of training students who want to lead.

Back to the stories in our teaching. Many commented on how they enjoy the style of teaching as we went through the Old Testament stories last year. Starting this Sunday we are going into the stories of the New Testament.

Just interesting. Last week I notice how Stephen went through the story of the Old Testament just before he became the first martyr of the Christian church. Some of our students can go through the stories of the Old Testament. See Act 7.

One of my favorite things is teaching the Middle school students on Sunday morning. Last week we talked about how God moved the authors of the Bible. Students are engaged and asking great questions. Sandy and Katie are bringing good activities to help them build friendships.

Cam is leading the way with our high school students. He is motivating them to bring their Bibles. Many students are memorizing the key verse each week. Hayden won the prize last week for memorization. Congrats to Hayden.
